This policy explains how ShamEye ("we") collects, uses and protects personal information on shameye.co.il and in the ShamEye appraisal-firm management system, including the chat and the site's contact channels.
Who is responsible for the data

Information an appraisal firm enters into the system — client details, cases and documents — is controlled by that firm: the firm is the controller of its clients' data, and we process it on the firm's behalf solely to operate the system. Access, correction or deletion requests for such data are handled with the firm managing the case.
What we collect
- Site contact forms: name, phone, email and the message — including the firm-interest form.
- Chat: the messages you send.
- User account: email address and identification details on signup and sign-in.
- Firm system data: cases, client details, visits, reports and system activity — as entered by the firm.
- Case documents: files uploaded to a case are stored securely; AI tools read them to identify, file and extract data — subject to user approval in the system.
- Digital signatures: signed documents and the data needed to verify a signature.
- Subscription details: plan, trial period and usage data for billing.
- Technical data: anonymous usage data for performance and analytics and, with your agreement, a random id recording which marketing channel brought you here (see “Cookies” below).
Why we use it
- To operate the system for appraisal firms — cases, documents, reports and collection.
- To answer site inquiries and provide the chat service.
- To manage accounts, subscriptions and security.
- To improve the site and the system.
Sharing with service providers
We do not sell personal information. We use providers that process data for us, possibly outside Israel:
- Clerk — signup and authentication.
- Neon — database hosting.
- Vercel — site and system hosting, file storage.
- Anthropic — the AI model that reads documents and powers the chat.
- Resend / Brevo — email delivery.
- Cloudflare — infrastructure, email routing and human verification (Turnstile).
Cookies
Essential cookies — sign-in, language preference and bot protection. They are required to run the site and therefore need no consent.
One measurement cookie is stored only after you explicitly agree. It holds a random id, the campaign details you arrived through, the referring site (its name, not the full address) and your entry page — enough to tell which channels produce real enquiries. It contains no name, email address or IP address, and is not shared with third parties.
You can accept, refuse or change your mind at any time from “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. Refusing does not limit your use of the site, and withdrawing consent deletes the measurement cookie.
Retention
We keep information as long as needed for the purposes it was collected for, to operate the firm's account, or as required by law.
Your rights
Under the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, 1981, you may review your information and request its correction or deletion. Contact: noam@shameye.co.il. Where the information was entered by an appraisal firm as part of a case, the request is handled with that firm.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time; the update date appears above.
